Great bar / restaurant mix. The bar is redone and really nice, with tall bar tables as well. Good mix of food as well. Pizzas, mexican, grinders and tons of beer specials. Wait staff is always very friendly and quick with the refills. I had the pulled pork dinner.....Heaven. Although I could have shared the meal with about 3 other people, it was good as left overs too. They provide bottles of all 4 sauces they have. I braved the hot and it was the perfect mix of heat and flavor. Oh - and they make their own ranch - yum.

had carryout grinders and everyone enjoyed theirs, not sure why hot sides are $1.99 extra, seems very over priced. 2 whole grinders, one 1/2 grinder, and 2 sides of fries $48!!!

We only order for carry out from here (I have a big smoke sensitivity, so I can't 'dine in' at places with smoking) so I can only comment on the food, not the atmosphere. We've had their burgers, rolls, and some appetizers. Everything has tasted great. We will continue to get food from here on a semi-regular basis.

Should I ever return to New Haven, Indiana--which will surely never happen--I will be sure to stop at this place again. Aside form the fact that they still allow smoking here (thanks, Indiana), the experience was good. Food was solid, especially for a bar. Got a 6" club hoagie that was on a quality bread, stuffed with fresh ingredients and toasted perfectly. Had a decent crowd for a Sunday afternoon, and my buddy enjoyed it too.

As far as New Haven bars/eaterys go, R&H is a bit pricier than the others. The food is great. The wait staff checks on you so much that it can get annoying. Good selection of beers. My GF loves their Cuban sandwich and I love their pizza rolls. They still allow you to smoke while you have a few drinks. If you don't like the smoke, don't go there and complain. You nonsmokers have plenty of other places to go if it's that big of a problem for you.

Yay! I love Rack & Helen's! I used to go here all the time for lunch. they have good service and good food. The portions are huge and cheap. I sure wish New Haven had a smoking ban, because there is nothing worse than eating lunch with a helping of cigarette smoke.

Best all around restaurant in the Fort Wayne area. All the staff is great, food is on point, drinks are reasonable. Laid back atmosphere, just get there early on the weekend, the place fills up quick.

Was a little apprehensive when I saw they allow smoking but I'm glad I went! The service is fantastic. Everyone waits on you and you don't have to ask for anything because the wait staff has already brought it to you. The food is very good! Two had burgers and one had a pork tenderloin. All three of us commented that the sandwiches were some of the best we have had. Will go back again next time I'm in the area.

It's a pretty fun bar to hang out at on the weekends. I had the Cuban sandwich on my last visit and that was really good and the tater tots for a side. They certainly aren't the cheapest bar in town, but service is always prompt. Expect to wait for a table on the weekends. It's one of the very few non-chain restaurants in Fort Wayne/New Haven that will have a waiting list for a table. It gets loud when they have a band and they still allow smoking but the food and good times make it worth it.

Wow!!! What a great local eatery. Prices are low and the quality is HIGH!!. Went for lunch one day and had pulled pork sandwich, HUGE and flavorful, smoked on premises. Had a beautiful thin crust pizza for dinner one night and would go back a thousand times for a pizza this good....in fact went back a second night for a repeat. Ask for the chips and salsa, great appetizer. They have a full bar. Friend had a steak and it was perfect. Don't miss this one.

Been here lots of times and really enjoy the food. My wife and I love the pizza, hamburgers, and sausage roll. Beer is selection is good too. Really nice there is no smoking anymore. Highly recommended.

Leaning towards 2.5 stars, ordered stuffed mushroom caps as an appetizer, my personal preference is a small cap which is seasoned. These were large, un flavored and moderate cheese. They were an appetizer that came out minutes before our sandwiches.(our party of 4) had a cuban. Not a cuban is what it should have been called., deeply disappointed in this sandwich, a Rack burger, bun was the best part. Other two sandwiches were okay. Great coleslaw, good macaroni salad. Service was hit and miss. One minute the waiter was all over the place, then he was gone for what seamed like a long time. Moderately priced, but I venture to say that I probably won't add it to the list of places you can enjoy eating.

All I can say is I wanted to like this place. Have tried it twice and both times left wondering how the place is rated better. Great atmosphere if you like some action, noise, etc. in which I do. Staff is always nice, just haven't liked the food as I would hope.

We went for lunch and the service was great. They had a nice lunch menu that was a great value. My coworker and I both got the soup, salad, and breadsticks combo for $6.99. It came with a decent-sized salad, an enormous bowl of chili, and two delicious breadsticks with dipping sauce. I would definitely go back to try more of their food if I ever end up in this area again.

Went to Rack's for dinner after I heard they are now NO SMOKING (Yeah). We had the grinder and the Smokehouse burger. The grinder was toasted nicely and delicious throughout. The Smokehouse Burger is one of the best burger that I have ever had. They put pulled pork, smoked onions and ham on the burger and a great sweetish sauce. Yum.

We tried R&H's on a very busy Friday night. The service was pretty good considering the volume of people in this large restaurant. I have the BBQ Pig pizza which was very good. Pizza's are thin crust and the sauce was not over powering. My wife had the club sandwich and said it was very good!! Because the place is large and a bit dated....it won't feel like a fine dinning experience. It was loud. Lots of TV's to watch your game. A little on the pricey side as my 10" pizza was $13.

THIS is the place in town. i cant see a reason to eat anywhere else. the huge menu alone is so diverse, with all good pickin's, that you could be kept busy trying new things for weeks at a time. Staff is totally on point, too (congrats to Nick who is celebrating his honeymoon in New York next month.)

I went there for dinner tonight. Was not expecting good "bar" food. But I must say it was rather good. I had the new Santa Fe burger which was big and delicious. It had plenty of guacamole and picca di gallo on it. The only problem that I had with it is that it didn't have any other condiments on it. So the bottom of the burger was kind of dry. I also had the Italian pasta salad as my side which was also great. My friend had the Cuban sandwich. I took a bite of that too. The pulled pork had a very nice smokey flavor. It was a nice panini. He had the macaroni salad as a side. had to have a bite of that too. It was nice and flavorful. The service was nice. The prices are about the same as a regular restaurant. We will be going again so I can try more of the menu. They have quite a few things on there that I would like to try.

This place is smoke filled and the 13dollar pizza had almost no flavor and the crust was dry as a saltine cracker both stars are for the good service other than the smoke the place looked nice and friendly

WOW this place is great! It is THE place to eat in New Haven, and worth the drive from Fort Wayne for their fantastic food. We all had grinders, and I have had an taste for a grinder since... and believe me, their grinders are large enough for 2, and still leave stuffed!!! If going on a Friday or Saturday night, make reservations as you'll need them, and you might consider getting there early anyway. My take on the prices is that they are very reasonable when you consider the portions and the quality of the food. Not low cost "finds" like many sports bar type locations, but you definitely get what you pay for here (in a very good way). Also a minor mention that smoking is no longer an option - I don't smoke, and smoke does not bother me, but I see others have made a comment that this location did have a smoking section. Overall, outstanding, just outstanding.

I have eaten here several times and it is always fantastic. If you are lucky enough to get the ribs which are only served a couple days a week, then grab them. They chicken wing appetizer they have is so big it's a meal unto its self. Everything I have tried there is fantastic. I love the atmosphere which is kind of loud but that makes the whole experience more exciting.

Known for their rolls (calzones) and grinders. FYI, no drink specials on Mondays, but they have them every other day of the week. The bar setup is nice with several flat screen televisions. Not very smoky for an Indiana bar. The bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and the menu. Nice little stop as you transition from I-69 to US 24. Will be back!
